Using Sodium Bicarbonate

Add one tablespoon of baking soda in a spraying bottle with water and shake until it is dissolved. Use the solution to spray on the areas with bold. To completely remove the mold on the surface, use a scrub brush.

You need to rinse the surface with water to remove any remains of baking soda. You can spray again and allow it to dry without wiping. To remove stubborn black mold, make two mixtures, one with baking soda and another with vinegar. Shake or stir the mixture until it forms a paste, apply it to the surface, and allow it to dry. The last step is to scrub off the mold from the surface and use water to wipe it down.

Use of Essential Oils

The most common essential oil used is Tea tree oil. It is not only used to get rid of mold but also as an insect repellent, antiseptic, and deodorizer. It is one of the safest methods of mold removal, this is because of its natural nature. Tea tree oil cleans up mold faster and prevents mold spores from reoccurring.

Use gloves to mix one teaspoon of tea tree oil with water. Shake well to ensure that the water and oil blend well. Spray the area which has mold, allow it to dry for about one hour, and wipe away using a towel. You can repeat the procedure in case the mold appears tough.
